Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Elite Car Rental. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, which govern the rental agreement between you and Elite Car Rental Please read these terms carefully.
1. Definitions

Agreement: This Rental Agreement and all referenced documents, including these Terms and Conditions.

Vehicle: The car or truck provided to You, including all tires, equipment, documents, keys, and accessories.

Renter / Authorized Driver: The individual(s) listed in the rental documents who are permitted to operate the Vehicle. All drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements.

Loss of Use: The rental income lost while the Vehicle is out of service due to damage, theft, or other incidents during your rental period.
2. Rental Eligibility & Requirements
To rent a Vehicle:

You must be at least 21 years old (or as otherwise defined by state law).

Additional drivers must be at least 25 years old and listed on the rental agreement.

You must possess a valid driver’s license and a major credit card.
-
International renters must present a valid passport and an international driver’s license.
3. Use of the Vehicle
You agree to:

Operate the Vehicle responsibly and in compliance with all traffic laws.

Return the Vehicle on the agreed date, time, and location, in the same condition (excluding normal wear).

Use the Vehicle only for personal or approved business transportation.
You must NOT use the Vehicle:

For racing, off-roading, towing, or teaching someone to drive.

While under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

To transport illegal substances or engage in unlawful activities.

Outside the approved geographic zone (United States only unless authorized in writing).
4. Vehicle Condition & Maintenance
You agree to inspect the Vehicle upon pickup and report any damage. You are responsible for maintaining fluid levels and tire pressure. Unauthorized repairs are prohibited without prior written consent from Elite Car Rentals.
5. Accidents, Damage & Theft
You are liable for:

All physical damage to the Vehicle, including weather-related events, theft, or vandalism.

Lost equipment, keys, or documents.

Reasonable administrative fees, towing, storage, and diminished value.
All accidents or thefts must be immediately reported to local police and Elite Car Rentals.
6. Insurance Requirements
You agree to provide proof of valid auto insurance coverage. If you do not have insurance, you must purchase coverage offered by Elite Car Rentals or our approved third-party partner.
Elite Car Rentals provides limited liability coverage only where required by law and only as excess to your existing policy. This coverage becomes void if:

You breach any terms of this Agreement.

An unauthorized driver operates the Vehicle.
7. Rental Charges & Payments
You agree to pay:

Daily rental fees and any selected add-ons (GPS, child seat, etc.).
-
All applicable taxes, tolls, fuel, cleaning, and refueling fees.
-
A late return fee for each day past the due date.
-
A fee of $35–$350 for vehicles returned dirty, smoked in, or with pet hair.

Fines, penalties, or impound fees resulting from your use of the Vehicle.
-
Costs associated with recovery or repossession due to breach of this Agreement.
We reserve the right to charge your card on file for any unpaid fees.
8. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required at the start of the rental. This deposit will be applied to any charges incurred and refunded within 7 business days, provided there are no violations, damages, or unpaid charges.
9. Personal Belongings
Elite Car Rental is not liable for loss of or damage to personal belongings left in or on the Vehicle. Please ensure all items are removed before return.
10. Breach of Agreement
Any misuse of the Vehicle or violation of this Agreement—including false information, unauthorized driving, negligent operation, or failure to return the Vehicle—may result in:

Immediate termination of the rental.

Forfeiture of insurance or coverage.

Civil or criminal prosecution.
11. Modifications
No modification or waiver of any part of this Agreement is valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties. Oral statements or promises not documented in writing are unenforceable.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elite Car Rental disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your rental experience. Our maximum liability is limited to the fees paid under this Agreement.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State in which the Vehicle is rented. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within that jurisdiction.
14. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between you and Elite Car Rental. It supersedes all prior communications, whether written or verbal.
By renting a Vehicle from Elite Car Rental, you acknowledge and agree to all of the above terms.
